How We Pick Games for H5 Game Arena
October 15, 2026
Every game listed on H5 Game Arena goes through the same short process before it's published, and it's worth explaining it plainly rather than just saying "curated."
The first pass is technical. We load the game ourselves, confirm it starts reliably, check that it runs inside a resizable browser frame rather than only at one fixed resolution, and make sure it doesn't throw console errors or hang on load. A game that's broken, or that only works full-screen on a specific device, doesn't go up, no matter how popular the title is elsewhere.
The second pass is categorization and description. Rather than reusing whatever text came bundled with a game, we write a short, original description and a plain-language how-to-play section for each title, so a visitor can tell what a game actually is before clicking into it. Games are sorted into one of our existing categories — we'd rather leave a game out than invent a vague new category just to fit it in.
The third pass is a content policy check, and this is the one that actually excludes the most titles. We don't list games built around copying a specific branded character or franchise without the rights to do so, games with a gambling or real-money mechanic, or games aimed primarily at a sexual or extreme-horror audience. This isn't just a legal precaution — we think a games site should be straightforward about what kind of experience a visitor is going to get, and consistently excluding those categories is part of that.
The result is a smaller library than some of the catalog-dump sites that list every game they can find a working embed for, by design. We'd rather have a few dozen games that load correctly and are accurately described than a few hundred where a third are broken or mislabeled.
