H5 Game Arena

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often about playing games on H5 Game Arena.

Is H5 Game Arena really free to use?

Yes. Every game on the Site is free to play and there is no account, subscription or purchase required. We cover running costs through advertising, not through charging players.

Do I need to download or install anything?

No. Every game runs directly in your browser using HTML5 (WebGL/WebAssembly) technology. There is nothing to install, and nothing is downloaded to your device beyond what your browser needs to display the page.

Which browsers and devices are supported?

Any modern browser on desktop, laptop, tablet or phone — Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox are all supported. Performance depends on your device's hardware, since some games use 3D graphics.

Why does a game take a moment to load?

Each game is a full WebGL application, similar in size to a small app, so it needs to download its assets the first time you open it. A fast connection will load most games in a few seconds; slower connections may take longer.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to play. We do not ask for a username, email or password anywhere on the Site to access the games.

Is my progress saved?

Some games save progress locally in your browser for that specific game; this depends on how each individual game was built by its developer. We do not operate a central save system across games.

Who makes the games on the Site?

Games are created by independent third-party developers and studios. We do not develop the games ourselves; we curate, categorize and host them for free browser play. See our Disclaimer for details.

How do you choose which games to list?

We review each game before adding it, checking that it loads reliably, works well in a browser window, and fits one of our existing categories. We also keep certain categories of content off the Site as a matter of policy, regardless of how popular they might be.

Does the Site show ads?

The Site may show advertising, including through Google AdSense, to help cover hosting and development costs. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details on how ad-related cookies are used, and your options for controlling them.

What information do you collect about me?

We do not require any personal information to play games. We may collect limited, non-identifying technical data (like browser type or approximate region) through standard analytics, as described in our Privacy Policy.

I found a bug or a game that won't load. What do I do?

Please let us know through our Contact page or by emailing [email protected] with the game name and a short description of the issue, and we'll look into it.

I'm a rights holder and want a game removed. What's the process?

Please see our DMCA page for the exact information we need to process a takedown request.

How does the Fullscreen button work?

Clicking Fullscreen uses your browser's native fullscreen mode on the game frame, which usually gives the best controls and view for action, racing and 3D games. Press Esc (or your device's equivalent) to exit fullscreen at any time.

A game plays but something looks cut off or stretched. What should I do?

Try resizing your browser window or rotating your phone, then reload the page — most games adapt automatically, but an unusually narrow or short window can occasionally cause layout issues in a specific game. If it persists, let us know through Contact with the game name and your device/browser.

Can I suggest a game to be added to the Site?

Yes — see the Contact page for how to send a suggestion. Every suggestion still goes through our normal review process before it's added.

Do you add new games regularly?

Yes, we review and add new titles on an ongoing basis. Check the homepage or Categories page periodically, or the Blog for announcements.

Is the Site safe to use?

The Site is served over HTTPS, and every game runs inside your browser's own sandbox, which means a game cannot read files on your device or install anything without your explicit action. See our blog post on browser game safety for more detail.
